Custom tune means that they're likely to use their favorite tuning firm anyhow, whether it is BM3, MHD, EcuTek, etc.. Check with your tuner to see which one they use/prefer and buy that OR buy BM3 and find a BM3 tuner...

Knowing/learning how finicky the BMW/Supra batteries are, I'd refrain from a direct hookup to battery, unless Camera specifically says it uses bare min battery and you've done the math for worst case recording scenario...unless you're ok with being stranded... You can for sure carry battery jump...

What difference does it make? You'll have to get another winter tire in 3.5 years instead of 4? You can't plan your tire's life that accurately. Get yourself a winter tire and be safe man.
