Even the German SUV's don't have remote start, not even as an option. That's one primary reason of why we went with American for my wife's SUV, being in Michigan... On 86, I installed remote start by myself with the help of forums and TIS. Required many wiring routing, wire splicing, soldering...

Did you buy the vehicle from them? Some dealers, afaik, didn't opt-in for technician training and opted out from carrying Supra inventory. So, if you're in such a dealer, no dice.

When I bought my FRS back in 2012 from VA, it came equipped with LoJack. Didn't care who put it in there but was glad with the thought of being able to track if stolen. But yeah, nowadays you can opt in for various tracking methods/systems...
