So many things wrong in this post and this thread. The biggest one is that wheel bolts are not torque to yield, the second biggest offense is your statement "They seem tougher".
Going back to OEM bolts is the best decision made here for you.
Only needs it if the cars software has been updated. Did you or does the car have the brake recall done? If so, need a bench unlock.
If the dealer updates at any time after using BM3, need a bench unlock.
Pre June 2020 ecus can be bench unlocked in the USA.
M240/M340/M440 basically exact same as Supra. Same engine, same brakes, same trans.
M340/M440 has a cool "track" option with larger front brakes (374mm front rotors and larger caliper) and aux oil cooler which has a different oil filter housing, oil pump and, of course, an external heat...
I've seen a bunch of people ask how to do this and just recently another person on the book was asking. So I just made a video.
Enjoy. It's a riveting performance.
Yup, I remember them not selling because they were too expensive for what they were. I saw someone post a dyno recently of a bone stock MK4 turbo making just under 300whp on a dynojet. There were like 50+ fanbois saying "THAT MUST BE WRONG, THAT IS WAY TOO LOW"
I lol'd a lot.
Of course, but not every dust is the same. The CSG dust with a ton of iron getting embedded in the paint, way more than PMU pads. This is also why I stay away from Hawk and Carbotech. Carbotech is just trash overall.
I wish Raybestos made pads for our Supra. The ST43 and ST45's were my go-tos...
