Yea you can get the 1 piece rotors for crazy cheap now. I personally would splurge a little extra for the high-iron versions. I think they are like $15-$20 more.

Front I think you can do without disconnecting. Rear you have to disconnect for sure. Actually, if I remember correctly we had to disconnect both front/rear. You can also go through the vents in the back but they are much harder to get to.
