Yea all the GESI catted downpipe are basically the same so just pick the one you want. I personally run a MAPerformance downpipe with a GESI cat and also no CEL.
Once you get more negative camber in front and go square tires with more grip on the front the rear will tend to be more over steery so you will probably want to reverse your tire pressure strategy at that point.
This is going to be very dependent on how you like your cars setup but I can share what has been working for me. I prefer a more neutral car that isn’t setup to be oversteery.
I have the Verus spoiler, front canards and front splitter (not high DF version) I run 650lb rates front and 600lb rear...
Wait a second. So they measure it at zero and then what do they give you after alignment? What do they tell you the camber is after alignment? There is no camber adjustment in the front when the car is stock.
Huh? You are using the wrong tools my man. No reason to cut the tops of the towers.
Use this:
I use that and have no issues getting to these to loosen and adjust:
The only adjustable part in the front stock are the toe links and the way it is designed is that there would be no way for it to shift out of what it was set at unless it was left loose or you are bending something.
Out of curiosity, didn't they tell you why it was delayed with the same reason? You mention they had a difference excuse each time. (I'm just going off the screenshots you shared)
Have your tried disconnecting the flex fuel wiring? Might be worth it for troubleshooting.
When I was doing some CANbus install stuff, the car did some funky stuff when I had things connected incorrectly.
The ECU is torque/load target based, not PSI target. PSI level can change day to day, hour to hour.
There are some tables in the ECU that basically shows pressure loss in the exhaust system. If you don't tweak those tables after taking the cat out or adding a free flowing exhaust, the boost can...
I was using a GESI cat on my last car with 640whp without issue. I have seen V8's with two GESI cats put down 800-900whp
KIES uses four cats on their F80 that put down 1000whp.
The "you can't make power with cats" thing is an internet myth that people like to parrot.
Unfortunately, this is what can happen when a brand becomes more of a lifestyle brand.
That said, I wouldn't say no to a Mercedes GT AMG Regular or Black Series. At least they still do the halo car thing well...
