Brake setups can be pretty subjective.
Great example is @Todday1 stating he likes Motul 660. I very much dislike Motul 660 but love Endless RF650 and Castrol SRF. This is not a criticism of his choice whatsoever. If it works for him, all good.
I've been through a bunch of sets of Project Mu...
Motive bleeder saves time and relationships.
No need to flush ABS unless you run the reservoir dry, don’t do that.
Verus brace + good fluid like Endless or SRF + good pads makes the system feel pretty decent.
Of all the cars I have owned and tracked, the Supra has by far the worst brake feel...
Even though you are still being hard headed and say "may have been used", I'll take this as admitting you where wrong after overwhelming evidence.
Easy to see who does and does not actually work on their own cars here.
Here, I just made a little video. Must be that new grease that actually works like adhesive... lol
Because I know you will probably double down here, it's obviously not very sticky in this video but that is because the adhesive part that wasn't contacting the pistons has brake dust all over it...
First off, I never said it will fix the problem, nor did I offer it as a solution. Now...back to it being glue..
LMAO. Even with proof you deny it. Grease strips? Hahha
1000000000% adhesive glue. You are 1000000% wrong saying it isn't.
There are countless videos out there showing they are...
You physically unbolted the calipers from the hub or you just took the pads out the top of the caliper?
If you unbolted the caliper from the hub, I would go check ALL the wires in that area. The speed sensor is in there and could cause the errors you are getting.
This is where an OBD2 reader...
That is the safety assist button. The traction control button has no light.
Highly suggest purchasing an OBD2 dongle and bimmerlink so you can check codes and such.
Are you 100% sure both ride height sensors are undamaged and not flipped? Front and rear?
The OEM front pads on the Supra are 100% glued to the pistons. You might not have noticed if you tracked the car before taking the OEM pads out, you probably melted the glue.
But I can assure you the pads are glued to the pistons from the factory.
I also would be taking the stance both of you...
If people are looking for data logging via CAN and not just OBD2 port, here is a list of the CAN items I have so far:
