Why do I always see IAT numbers posted on this from cruise or idle?
What would actually be useful are logs from single WOT pulls so we can see IAT increase through one gear and also logs from sustained WOT pulls across gears. Like this:
Getting the ZL1 rock guards helps a ton for the lower fenders. That said, they don't really protect the rear parts of the black side skirts, mine are pretty blasted after 15 track events. Good news is that the side skirts don't cost a ton of money.
Only rattle I have had so far was the bezel around the gauge cluster. More so when it was cold out. It annoyed the F out of me. I just stuck some padding between the bezel and the upper dash and it fixed 90% of it.
Truth. Not to mention the roads are also in horrible shape.
We moved to the Hudson Valley NY area and the driving roads (and road conditions) are glorious compared.
Yea I am constantly amazed by the great gas mileage the car gets. I could care less since I don't daily it but I am still amazed by the mpg it gets to/from track events.
"I don't own one but here is what will happen".
LMAO
I hit my head once, then I learned. Haven't hit my head again since and I even have a race bucket seat. Maybe some others take longer to learn basic things?
Most of the "drawbacks" listed so far in this thread are from people that don't...
I have used Intercity Lines a couple times now. Enclosed trailer. One time across the country from California to New Jersey and one time from Ohio to New York. They ship a lot of super high end cars so I've never had an issue with them. I highly recommend them.
The Ohio to New York was last...
Having operated a Mustang dyno like the one in the photo for over 10 years, I have to say I very much laughed for about three minutes after seeing that +200whp/wtq correction. lmao.
Maybe the shop is on the moon?
Yes you could. 295 is a bit wide on a 18x10 for the rear though. The OEM PSS tires kinda suck on track for anyone that is at a good pace.
If somebody did want to keep the OEM wheels, I would fit some better tires on it, like Falken RT660, Yoko A052, Goodyear Supercar 3, etc. Even with keeping...
Went to Palmer Motorsports park this weekend. Third time at this track, second time in the clockwise config.
I love this track, it's very challenging and a rollercoaster ride. I very much respect this track as I have seen a fair amount of crashes here so I don't drive it as hard as other tracks...
If you have an error that is what happens. Example: I have an error from my race seat and just stays there and I have to push the button to see my mileage, then goes back to the error.
