  1. Auto Trunk Support Lifts

Wait until you see how much a totally not even needed catback costs.
  2. Auto Trunk Support Lifts

$67 for two hatch struts that do what you are asking for is expensive? I think you might have bought the wrong car.
  3. What is an absolute needed change for time/grip track use?

I don't drive the supra much on the street. I do drive to/from the track and I take out for some fun drives weekly but it's not my daily. That said, the Club Racers aren't bad on the street. They barely make noise and not all the time. Some track pads are super annoying on the street. I would...
  4. What is an absolute needed change for time/grip track use?

Wanted to post some factual usage updates here. The OEM rotors are perfectly fine for track use. You have to use the correct pads and fluid for the track. People that say otherwise don't have the right setup. My current braking setup: OEM calipers OEM rotors Project Mu Club Racer brake pads...
  5. Broken steering linkage

Would be pretty close. $120 part $250/hr shop time (anyone that takes longer than 1hr to install a tie rod with a lift is scamming you.) $150 alignment $520 total hell, let's say MSRP for the part $157 part $250/hr shop time (anyone that takes longer than 1hr to install a tie rod with a lift...
  6. Stiffer, more stable but not lower.

I do not. When you say you are looking for more stability from the rear wheels do you mean reduce the twitchness of the car in stock form? If so, have you done an alignment? Adding some rear toe-in makes a dramatic difference to the stability of the rear.
  7. Stiffer, more stable but not lower.

They vibrate like a mofo and you hear all the drivetrain sounds.
  8. Broken steering linkage

Ah, the plot thickens! I want to make it clear that everything I have been posting is NOT to put blame on you. My sentiment is to try and help you out. If Toyota ends up telling you to bugger off, just know that the fix is most likely $500 or less at a good independent shop IF the only thing...
  9. Stiffer, more stable but not lower.

You can't get them shipped? I have bought a bunch of stuff from Europe before with no issues. Unless it doesn't work the same the other way around? ;)
  10. Broken steering linkage

Neither did the OP's. Stating to just pay $5k because it's no big deal on a less than $500 solve is like the most privileged thing I have read today.
  11. Stiffer, more stable but not lower.

Why not look at the HKS adjustable springs?
  12. Front collision avoidance system.

You don't have it fully off then. I turn it off on track and I have been almost in peoples trunks without any intervention at all. You need to hold the button down until it states everything is off and the button light is no longer on (like it states in the user manual I shared above) NOT just...
  13. Front collision avoidance system.

I wonder if reading the owners manual would give the answers here? I know I know, crazy idea!
  14. Broken steering linkage

Not all 2020's were affected. The issue here is that it's very obvious in your photo that the tie rod bent before it snapped. It's not just a clean snap. I asked before but I'll ask again, was the car jacked up at all previous to this incident?
  15. Broken steering linkage

Yea, that part of the rod is literally designed to be the bend point to help it not snap, obviously it didn't help in this instance.
  16. Broken steering linkage

You can look up open recalls on your car here: https://www.toyota.com/recall Nothing for my 2020. Also found this:
  17. Broken steering linkage

Looking at this photo again. It looks like the sway bar contacted the tie rod (you can see the mark on the bar) and bent it up and then the rod snapped. A couple track guys with bigger bars and such have had some issues with bending the tie rod. Everything is VERY tight in there when the car is...
  18. Broken steering linkage

Horrible advice. $5k is highway robbery for that $120 part and an alignment. I can change that out in under an hour. Any good shop will do that for under $500.
  19. Stiffer, more stable but not lower.

I mainly track my car, more than 50% of my miles are from on track usage and I would never put those transmission mounts in the car. I drove in one with them, they are insanely annoying and will make you hate the car. I also come from the land of Evos so I am no stranger to insane drivetrain...
  20. Broken steering linkage

$5k!!! It's an easy fix. Just replace the outer tie rod. Then an alignment. easy peasy. But something def bent that tie rod. That is the area that is supposed to bend, but not snap.
