The person above me accidently called it Sweeper. I didn't mention it by name as I was referring to the video. Flat out from *Riverside* to the braking point before the right, going to the hill. It can be done but it's scary. 99 out of 100 times I get nervous and lift a bit at the left-hander...
My favorite is getting on the full throttle.. juuuust keeping from going too far out, juuust bringing it back the right enough to cut the left hander and brake before the hill - all without lifting. It's almost scary fast. If someone isn't doing that, then they need to get on the gas a bit...
All too familiar. I had to have an oil pan built for one of my cars because it was known for doing the same thing. It was pretty scary until I got it resolved.
wheel size doesn't matter so much as design and offset.
Also, FYI, you can quote multiple posts at the same time. If you click on the "+quote" of each post you want to quote, then hit the "insert quotes" button. It's a time saver vs making multiple posts  :headbang:
At one time, I had three cars and a motorcycle that were all grey. Another car was white and the last one was silver. My entire fleet was in grey scale. ?
Nothing wrong with having a theme. ?
Have you thought about doing it on your own? I'm the best mechanic I know ?
I don't take my cars to anyone else because I have trust issues. I will let someone else near it only if there is something that I just can't figure out (carburetors, electrical). Otherwise, I know I'll do it right. I've...
I have mud flaps on now, just because I intend on selling the car at the beginning of next year. I wouldn't use fenders like these because of that. I was just wondering, in general. the bottom part being closed off should take the brunt of the hits. :headbang:
Out of curiosity: does the lower part of the fender adequately block dirt/rocks/debris from hitting the rest of the car? I always wondered. Definitely looks cool.
All sounds about right. LOL. Things are so different, these days. Seems that customer service and vendor responsibilities were better about 2-3yrs ago.
How do you like the Jag? I had the Aston version (Vantage) and absolutely loved it ....and regret selling (it was the last of my MT cars). Since these cars are cousins, I'd imagine you feel the same towards yours as I did mine. The Vantage was just such a joy to sit in and drive.
I'm on board with keeping the car stock. Mine looks completely stuck, basically. The seat was a unnecessary item. My lap times were suffering (I'm in a points chase), I was getting beat up, But most importantly I couldn't feel anything the car was doing because I wasn't able to relax my arms...
Depends on who you ask lol
I'm part of the old school safety committee and was always taught that
1. harness bars were only meant to get the correct angle on your harness when you mount them to a proper surface.
2. You should only have a race seat and harness with a roll bar. (Rollover...
