I'm not sure how that would work. I didn't even know cars like that existed.
That's how lazy I am ? my street car is AT so I can eat, drink, use my phone, etc. But....I do all my fun stuff at the race track, so CAN be lazy around town. LOL
I don't have this feature, but wish I did. When on the freeway, nobody and I mean NOBODY knows how to drive. I can't use CC because I am constantly coming up on cars that are creeping in the first two lanes, causing me to cancel it until I can find a way around. My freeway drives are usually...
I know this subject has been done to death and we always say the same thing, but I'll reiterate, along with everyone else ?
I bought mine STRICLY as a track toy. As such, I bought AT because it's faster. I already had cars with manual transmissions; didn't need another.
Oddly enough.. I ended...
They were developed for my old car because anytime we would let off the clutch too fast, the throw out bearing would release from the clutch you'd have to pull the transmission to fix it.
A stop limits movements, so I'm trying to figure out how it would help with shifting.
+1 on not doing the stop. I did one on a car and had to keep adjusting it as the clutch would wear. The stop didn't allow the fork and slave to move with wear, so I'd get clutch slippage.
I'm already modulating throttle out of turns. I guess I could use more when the wheel is straight, though.
I don't think my class mentions transmission tuning, so I may be able to get away with it. I'll have to check.
I'm okay with that, as long as I can do so with full confidence.
I just don't want to do anything to my car that's going to to either break something or need a silly amount of maintenance to keep healthy.
If I could toss the tune in and everything else would remain the same I would be totally...
I'm letting others test it out for about a year before I jump in. I haven't found a need for anything different, but willing to try as long as I know the car will survive.
18" wheels are lighter, you have more tire choices, and the car will ride better. If you swap, you can get a square fitment, which is nice if you like to rotate tires.
They don't look "hella flush" or have "stance", but that's okay for some of us.
