I'm more of a manual transmission guy, but I will say that my buddy's 10-speed automatic Mustang GT is amazing. I've never driven an automatic car that shifts quite like that car. Ford just got it right I guess. The car is never in the wrong gear and will hit the shifts hard when you're on it...
I don't have my Supra yet (been waiting for a manual trans to become available), but these are my two daily drivers right now. The Jeep is my winter vehicle and the Audi is my summer vehicle. Spring and Fall, both vehicles see about equal time. The Audi is a 6-speed manual and I will probably...
It will be funny to look back on this thread in a few years if Toyota does eventually end up with an M engine in the Supra at the end of it's cycle. I mean, Toyota did say that they would make changes to the car as it went through the generation....
Well, that's a suprise to me. From reading all the A91 MT stuff, Toyota sure made it sound like the new lightweight wheels were only included with the special edition cars. I guess not though...

I've just come to realize that some people will never understand. And that's okay.
For me, there's never been a car made that can put a smile on my face the way a manual transmission car does. If acceleration was all I cared about, I'd just get a Tesla and call it a day.
The BMW ///M guys are going to love this. LOL
Seriously though, BMW has kind of watered down the meaning of ///M by slapping M badges on pretty much everything they make now.
Anyone on the forum? If so, I was behind you on Rt. 322 the other day. Just wondering about the exhaust set up, as I've yet to see a single exit exhaust on a GR Supra.
In fairness, any car with 1,000 hp needs really good brakes. I think Tesla put adequate brakes on the Plaid for regular street use. For the track, they definitely need some upgrades.
Let's keep in mind that we're talking about a sedan that can approach 160 mph in just 1/4 of a mile distance and...
