Interesting never knew Phantom Grey was possibly unique to Toyota, but what about Frozen Grey II on the Z4? All I see quick searching online is Toyota saying Phantom Grey is bespoke to Toyota, but I feel like whatever Toyota says I have to read between the lines. Seems like a coincidence that...
How about starting the car without having your foot on the brake pedal? Maybe the car auto disengages the parking brake when you depress the clutch while having your foot on the brake pedal and the car is assuming you are either ready to go or the car thinks since you have the brake pedal...
I don't mind those, but if it's gonna replace nitro yellow, I'd like to see another non-metallic paint. I could be wrong on this, but I feel like non-metallic paint goes better with a sports car vibe, vs. metallic can look more classy and is more GT spec.
Curious where this talk comes from? I'm just skeptical Toyota, the conservative company, that had Subaru and BMW build their 2 sports cars for them to have Subaru's Japanese plant send paint to BMW's contracted Magna Steyr Austrian plant to use on one car model, unless this Subaru paint was...
I hope I'm not doing harm by putting Jackie on a pedestal, but I think his video blogs will answer almost all of this thread's questions regarding track performance comparisons to the Supra.
European cars most likely go through the Panama canal to get to the west coast. And in reverse, say for China made consumer goods would go through Panama canal to get to the east coast.
Did some more digging online and it seems JAPANESE Toyota's do arrive in Long Beach, but I think BMW's arrive at the port of Hueneme in Ventura county.
Just curious, does your information specifically say port of Long Beach, or is that an assumption? I would of assumed most vehicles arrive at the port of Hueneme.
Didn't the N20 motor get an extended warranty because of the timing chain? I'm seeing 7 yr/70,000 miles quick searching Google.
Edit: looks like only covers up to 2015 models. https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2017/MC-10142923-9999.pdf
Reminder to please take a deep breath and re-read what you wrote before defending which transmission is best transmission.
Interesting to note, the Toyota employee said he had been working on the MT project for 2 years, so seems development started latest by late 2020.
For the people who answered keep the GR badge, how about now?

I'll take some of the blame because people like me are coming out of the woodworks as self proclaimed car enthusiasts in the car market, when I've been driving the same 2006 Mazda RX-8 along with various CUV/SUV's for the last 15+ years.
Probably most enthusiasts that are in the market for...
They said it would be the Civic because it would be more useable/practical as a daily car/special . And they said the Supra isn't special enough to have as a 2nd car. (basically just listen to the last 2/3 mins of the video lol)
