They better not get rid of yellow.

But I already have an orange Civic Si, I was counting on a Yellow Supra. I’m sure it’ll look the business but I would really like a green with a medium brown interior. There's some noise coming from Australian dealers that a) Yellow has been discontinued and b) Orange will be offered in its place for MY24+.
The GR86 orange would be interesting and surprising. It'd be the only non-BMW color.Talk was the orange offered on the limited edition GR86
Curious where this talk comes from? I'm just skeptical Toyota, the conservative company, that had Subaru and BMW build their 2 sports cars for them to have Subaru's Japanese plant send paint to BMW's contracted Magna Steyr Austrian plant to use on one car model, unless this Subaru paint was planned to be used on other manufactured cars at Magna Steyr.Talk was the orange offered on the limited edition GR86
Assuming it's a BMW color like the rest, I would bet it's going to be Sakhir Orange or Sunset Orange. Fire Orange would be great as well though.Curious where this talk comes from? I wouldn't mind the Lime Rock M3 orange (Fire Orange?) and would pick that over the Subaru orange that we'll be seeing on various Subaru's around town here in the USA.
I don't mind those, but if it's gonna replace nitro yellow, I'd like to see another non-metallic paint. I could be wrong on this, but I feel like non-metallic paint goes better with a sports car vibe, vs. metallic can look more classy and is more GT spec.Assuming it's a BMW color like the rest, I would bet it's going to be Sakhir Orange or Sunset Orange. I was still blown away they released a 6 speed manual - I was sure they wouldn't do anything like that...even if it was an afterthought.....so who knows.Everyone speculations are always completely wrong for every company new product release. Nothing anyone says matter or ever come true so believe as much as you want from just clueless joe on here

A thread in the Australia section.Curious where this talk comes from?
Yes. I've had a few salesguys here in Australia tell me Yellow is discontinued. The orange was mentioned in one of the Australian threads and seems to support what sales guys are saying. Of course, just as a caveat, the last sales guy I spoke to also told me it takes months for the car to get out from Japan.Everyone speculations are always completely wrong for every company new product release. I actually kind of agree with this point/logic, but man metallic paints just look so expensive sometimes. And they tend to change color based on lighting, which I love. It’s like getting 2 colors for the price of 1!I don't mind those, but if it's gonna replace nitro yellow, I'd like to see another non-metallic paint. I thought phantom grey was a Toyota original with no Bmw paint code? Either way, as someone else mentioned, bmw currently has a gorgeous orange on offer for their 340i. I’m not going to lie, I’d be salty if they offer a metallic orange soon. That was the #1 color I wanted on the mkv.The GR86 orange would be interesting and surprising. It'd be the only non-BMW color.
