  1. What did you do to your Supra today?

For a quick minute I thought that ?was some kinda stone cold marble wrap…. Anything affordable in those top two categories ? Unfortunately I really need to use up what Iā€˜ve got. It’d be fun to take the OEM ones to the track and drive the snot outta them until nothing is left. Then have one...
  2. What did you do to your Supra today?

Great explanation! Car looks fantastic btw. I really hope you track her someday ?. Price and ability to rotate was my main concerns for tracking. My non track months, I go back to the OEM wheels. They look good powder coated (or Hyperdiped in my case) compared to the fugly chrome they came with...
  3. Exocet to Supra

Yeah with your track experience, I really doubt those springs will hold up for ya. In town driving, no problemo. Coming from lighter cars myself, I thought I could do a few track days while waiting to decide which coliovers I’d get or if I’d need any at all ?. What a stupid & expensive way for...
  4. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

Indeed. I’ve been on this same track for quite a while. First time I’ve corded the inside. Again, hindsight is 20/20. More likely the tires were used a bit longer than I’m remembering. Perhaps I drove in town longer than I normally do. Too many factors in this case that I’ve muddled up. I really...

You’re right. Had I thought something had changed and I was still making alignment changes, I should have done that. And it wouldn’t hurt going forward, measure, looking for even temps across the tread… I’ve done it in the past when 1st setting up a car. However, I’ve been mega happy with my...
  6. U.S. Press Release: Take One Last Lap in the 2026 Toyota GR Supra MKV Final Edition

Ouch! Thereā€˜s simply not enough there to warrant that much coin. If it had more GT4 goodies slapped on, maybe it would make more cents. The black with red mirror caps actually looks great for the final edition send off. But for a few hundred bucks more, not thousands….. I’d even buy my own...
  7. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

Well this was a 1st for any car I’ve owned… Corded the inside left (driver’s side) tire. Granted I did a lot more in town driving than I usually do and busted an end link while driving at Sebring (turn 17). A button screw (they called it something else) came off on track. Luckily a...
  8. U.S. Press Release: Take One Last Lap in the 2026 Toyota GR Supra MKV Final Edition

Those cupholder covers also act as a glovebox filler. You finally get the wind buffeting thingy and…. a phat GR crooked sticker on the side you get to rip off yourself. Enjoy!!
  9. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

Yeah used Motul once from a trackside company that did my pads & fluid. It only lasted that weekend. Went right back to SRF. I’ve been using SRF shortly after getting this car… great fluid, last longer like you said, given its higher wet temp. If my car doesn’t go to the shop in between track...
  10. Tampa Florida Supra Meetup

Chin will be at Sebring if you wanna do a day & then a TPA cars & coffee ā˜•ļø on the other day.
  11. What did you do to your Supra today?

Love Borla ? What made you decide to change? Man that’s some cool lighting!! And way better than the apocalyptic video game looking lights that are always flickering in my garage ?. Need to add that to my to do list….
  12. Your thoughts on housing market outlook

That sounds crazy expensive! Unless mixed use or zoned commercial.
  13. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

Used to do it myself & change the pads & rotors. But I don’t track nearly enough to do so. Plus, she’s usually at the shop in between track days for something I bought or broke ?. Both shops do it for me now really cheap. As far the ABS magic, after hearing so much about it on here, I asked...
  14. Photo of the day... šŸ˜

    Naw…. looks great!
  15. Cusco interior brace bolt

Did Cusco provide the bolt? You could always call them and get a replacement. Or even ask them. Since they deal in that part, they might know ?ā€ā™‚ļø And like others have said, taking the bolt from the other side to a Toyota dealer, ACE hardware, or NAPA store to match it up would be easy for them :)
  16. Your thoughts on housing market outlook

Yeah, I’m not saying it’s not good to buy a house. But there are better investments out there than a primary residence. It’s never good to be house poor. And location location location is a term everyone knows in real estate. That’s so important given that every area is different. Doing your...
  17. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

My most solid pedal feel is after fresh fluid or bleeding out the dirty fluid. So I do that after each track weekend. Most will call it overkill but itā€˜s easy to do. Maybe it’s a Florida thing, who knows. Regardless, they start to get mushy whenever I donā€˜t do it. Especially after a full 3 days...
  18. BENT DRIVER SIDE INNER TIE ROD, HELP!!!!!!!!

Yup. Didn’t know if there was anything else or other suggestions you might have had. At least that’s what I thought he was asking. *(I gotta admit I do punch out responses too quickly and then ??ā€ā™‚ļø do other things. I’ll be more meticulous in da future brother B)* ?
  19. Thoughts on the Verus Turbo Heat Shield?

Do you track all year round, cold suit & the works? I know the S2K can take it but it got hard for me ? toward the end of my time with her. If you don’t drive all year round, what’s your cut off time (I’m down to Oct - March)? Just curious and beautiful car David!!
