Youāve got to live to your name and keep er stock ?
From the looks of your car, Iād say sheās running a bit hot ? But Iām no Colonel either. I wouldnāt even make rank of private nor pass JB4 boot camp.
Thatās all. Iāll go back to lurking & ?. Carry on ?
I can tell you that if looking in the SWFL area, you can now find homes under $200/sq ft. Which is really cheap for quite low crime clean areas. The gulf coast is much more laid back in general, safer = cheaper car insurance than my friends on the Atlantic side.
You are right on the fact that...
I tried the stage 2 on track (for one session), found it to be much better but still lacking. Switched to stage 3 between sessions andā¦. baddabam ? McLovin ? it ever since!! Enjoy amigo ?
I went from OEM rotors straight to Hawk DTC60/30 w/out issue.
Only time I had a problem was when I didnāt bed in a different compound properly when switching from the Hawk to a Winmax. Like eating a Monarch butterfly, I didnāt go back after that. It helps that the price of rotors have come...
So which way did they go? From what I read, it sounds like counties can still do emission testing if they were previously. Or can they choose to be more stringent if they want to?
Sweeattttttttttā¦. Thatās cool you know & found that information. I donāt know the numbers and just drive the damn thing. But it doesnāt take a much to hit the ABS threshold. Hence why itās good to find that point early on when starting to track her (or any car with assisted brakes for that...
So cool you can flash her back and forth with ease for the DMV or whoever!
As for the weather, I feel that way about the hot flashes down here (my body and the temps outside ?). One minute Iām thinking I can squeeze one more track day in thenā¦. ?
So badass you and Mr. Lucky P both are able to...
Congrats ? and make sure you make adjustments according to tire rub (excessive wear), depending on your wheel, tire size & brand and how the car feels. My alignment & height were adjusted a few times along the way as I got more comfortable. The faster I went the greater wiggle room I needed...
Many people will run 275/40 tires on an 18 inch wheel. Iām personally running 275/35ā18s. There are a ton of tires in that range (which I realize has variations) and Iāve been driving on a contingency tire that size as well. My car is finally setup for it & feels fantastic!
For me that was...
Hopefully battery prices will stay down and no one under 15 is forced to work anywhere. I worked at Publix (my choice) at that age. Was good hard work. But learned quickly why I wanted to study harder ?. The girls got to work the register (some cute ones too) and us cart getters (rain or shine)...
Car is too low = too much stress on those tie rods.
Iāve got all my SPL parts. Many of them brand new, that I need to sell. Iāll get around to posting pics of them all and let them go for a good deal. That will help, being able to articulate those joints better.
Youāre also going to want to...
I didnāt look back further but are you on 18 inch wheels, that inherently make you lower, in addition to your lowering springs? The Eibach lowering springs were too low for track use in my case & caused more tension than the rods could take. Iām now back up to an acceptable height on my Ohlins &...
I donāt even know what heās asking⦠Regardless, I donāt like the fact they could void our warranty for using a better oil for MY car because of stupid government regs. Is that true? How is that even possible when higher viscosity oils are being used across the globe. Iāve seen your Blackstone...
