Yeah I guess they didn’t specify best for what. I just assume “best” means line em up and put them on a track ?. Wrong assumption ofc. My wife absolutely loves her GTI. I personally wouldn’t track it over my Supra. So no dissing the front wheel drive family but when Honda made the S2000, I went...
That’s one of the few things I actually do myself on my cars annually - change the cabin air filter. So damn easy in the Mazda being in the glove box, ?. In my daughters Ford, you practically have to take the car apart to get to it ?. Man I hope it’s easy in these BMWs ??
Damn @nibble you make me want to go out and buy a PS5, bust out my old wheel and fire her up. Sounds like fun!!!!
Edit: I’m on an Amazon “list” to get notified if I can buy one. I also tried Playstation direct. Bad time of year I suppose to try and get one. I’ll keep my eye ?️ out for that...
Holy backdrop! The closest we’ve got to that over here, imo, is Montana. That’s freaking beautiful dude!!!! I live in Florida. Best I can do is bust out some photos of my Supra next to a swamp.
My clearance was tight up front so I got 10mm spacers all around. Running on 18 inch Apex wheels with Maxxis 275/35 tires.. Looks and feels great on track!
Is there any car out there that all the electronic gizmos work consistently. Besides maybe Tesla? I feel like it takes centuries for this stuff to actually be tried out by the manufacturers and not say fcuk it, just quickly roll it out!
If there was, I would have bought it, lol. I was conscious to run off less on the right side until the new one came in. Hahaha…. You should be fine dude.
When I track out, I track out… ?
I’m just wondering if @NitroYellowMKV would have to live underground and burn this thread if he lived in CA ?
And also feeling safe to vouch for him. Not moving to CA or other tailpipe sniffin state anytime soon….
Duuuuude…. I had a really good friend that also had a S2000s. I was tracking way before he put his S2K diapers on and got him driving on track. He was an awful driver, lol. Until he hired John Dean, MX5 cup champ of all time, to teach him how to drive on track. Next thing you know he was the...
My wife, still to this day, LOVES Borla, due to her stupid 5.0 Mustang with some obscenely loud exhaust. I think she ½ realizes it’s the engine. We’ll probably get a phat V8 someday before they kill them all off.
And agree with all y’all that a catless downpipe sounds amazing on this car!
:offtopic:
How much toe out are you running up front? Just curious as I’m running 275/35-18 square for the ease and massive availability of tires. Looking at getting more of that inherent understeer out as well. I’ve been spoiled like you with lots of seat time in a S2K.
I’m with ya! My wife tracks too and she knows @DarkZupra’s seats all too well (and his garage, lol). I’ve slowly conditioned her to what a great idea and purchase those seats would be ?. I need to call the company and see how much it’d cost for all red leather and ability for a 5 point harness...
I’m loving my Toyota even more and more lately. Besides Mazda, I don’t consider myself that brand loyal in the auto industry. But really feeling good about my purchase, thanks to the tracking marketing and the CEO...
Okay, now I feel better ❤️‍?✌. Will be happy with my 0 or 5-30 that is in route to my house as we speak. And not too thick despite how schweaty my ass is in the seat. This car needs somewhat lower viscosity to get in all the nooks and crannies (including main and rod?).
So many guys are doing the snowbird thing right now. Down here now tracking until April/May, then they head back up north. I definitely want to do that someday (when I retire)!!!! One buddy that is down here now tracking his GT4 has amazing seats. I believe they came stock. I don’t think the 5...
