it was really just for MT cars. Its just the calculated torque, I don't know the scaling, I just know 50 is the maximum and car will close throttle if exceeded.
On an MT you can mostly avoid the throttle closures staying under ~48
AT can hit 49-50 usually fine.
Totally agree, they could do better on them. I liked the CF and MT editions a lot though. I have a hard time caring about anniversary or final edition cars (over a standard 3.0).
Cosmetic mods are a no go for resale, but I think something like an unlock+tune won't hurt you since the average buyer wants those features. Its not a "subjective" mod.
exhaust would be subjective, as would suspension, wheels, etc.
man he's not shitting on the product, he's telling you it won't get you to your power goals. 91 octane is dookie. you will need a pure800 to make more than a stock turbo on E50 lol
its not bad, usually I find stock dp MT supras work well when FF is at 30. car runs a bit lower boost and timing cleans up
you should be able to get map 1 running with a few corrections or fewer on 93.
i dunno if it is an MT thing but they seem to run more timing/less boost compared to autos...
I would love to drive an Emira. Maybe I will in 5 years when they're worth less than my Supra 😂
I think smart buyers will lean toward a cayman 4.0 instead.
