even the higher fuel pressure tune has it ramped in. doesn't hit 5300psi till like 6k rpm because it would crash the hpfp if it did.
you can see that IDC basically flatlines at 5500 while fuel pressure increases to accommodate the extra demand...
Timing is good but for MT cars on stock downpipe, FF is best set between 25-35. Try 30 to start. Remember it saves per map, so you must be in the intended map before changing it.
watch Throttle. Should rarely intervene .
either a coincidence or I harassed MHD enough to disable "clutch protection" torque limiters on MT cars this week😂
not sure if in OTS yet, but this makes it a lot easier for my custom tuning.
No issues with hard 1st-2nd shifts during a launch?
Yeah i was pretty shocked to see knock on the shift since steady state pulls ie. Single gear have excellent timing.
Ultimately MHD needs to drop "blow off WGDC" to near zero for all MT roms on their OTS regardless. Not sure if that will fix...
I mean, I have been on OTS for a couple months now and I just had it do this limp mode once last weekend. Generally it has been fine and smooth, but the shift behavior needs work. I think the issue is mostly a high-load scenario only.
Do you happen to know the table name for the open vs closed looped fueling mid shift?
I think this ultimately is the cause of the 262144 limp mode this thread is about. Car is basically knocking on the shift since it is at 18+ afr and 15+ lbs boost.
Maybe because it was starting in 2nd. Here is a full 3rd gear sweep which would be better comparison to what you sent:

Dongle is the newest red MHD universal wifi one
Its possible that I am logging more than I need to. I added links so you can see what parameters. Should be just standard parameters with a few I thought would be useful in addition.
Device is Galaxy S24 so plenty of computing power.
Thanks for the table!
Shoutout David Shoup for pointing out the likely method to resolve this -
Two key points in the calibration:
Open loop fueling mid-shift is changed to closed-loop for MT cars
smooths out hpfp demand as torque requests jump up and down mid shift.
prevents knock (from being lean) getting into...

Yea i reached out to a few tuners(and mhd) to see if its a known MT issue on OTS. I guess I will log any time I drive and try to recreate.
But I guess to anyone else catless on OTS may just wanna take it easier on the 1-2 😂
I wasn't logging when it happened, but took some while it was in limp to see whats going on:

I don't think its fuel related since heres a pull from last month on the same tank of E40...
