I don't think its structural structural but from what I've seen it's a pretty meaty bit of kit. When upgraded the stereo system, most people seem to build on top of it rather than remove it, even if their not using the original subwoofers. There's probably a reason for that..

I think the point is that almost all engine modifications are questionably legal. Even a lowly JB+ is technically meant for off road use only! It's more about how far you are willing to push boundaries. So in essence, what people were trying to say is that asking about performance mods that are...

Not a huge bump, but a JB+ is cheap and a great stop gap before going full Femto - skipping the JB4 entirely.
