As we await the arrival, I got to thinking..
Is there any reason why the speaker shelf could not be lowered?
Or is that part of a structural Bulkhead?
If possible, thus would certainly add more room.

I don't think its structural structural but from what I've seen it's a pretty meaty bit of kit. When upgraded the stereo system, most people seem to build on top of it rather than remove it, even if their not using the original subwoofers. There's probably a reason for that..

I think that is the point? There is not a lot of space ..so anything might be helpful

OMG there's so much SPACE back there. can you fit a whole a set of wheels in your car without removing the passenger seat now?
No clue. I built a proper sub box and my winter project was for carrying my wheels, tools, and race fuel ?
