That ship has sailed. We are staring down the barrel of the last rear wheel drive manual sports cars. Crowding that segment doesn't help us at all.
And as for support, that sweet multi-purpose BMW engine will ensure after market engine support is here for a long long time. As for cosmetics, meh.
LMFAO. It doesn't take ten minutes to say "can't drive a manual properly." The only way this should (or better yet, could) be an issue, is if you are coming from a high revving car to a low revving one - literally me. And even so, such shifts are 100% user error.
What's next, a warning light...
This. Using a combination of non-sport mode and a gentle foot should avoid alerting the thin blue line of what it's capable of. Just be aware that those rear resonators hang pretty low.. probably not low enough to scrape at stock height, but low enough to make you think about it whenever you're...
I'm running the touring non-resonated with a stock down pipe and I can honestly say it is just about perfect. Is it going to be legal there.. not sure. It burbles nicely in Sport mode and the burbles disappear when not in Sport mode.. whatever that is.
I also hear the track version may drone...
I doubt it's that big a jump to be honest, after accounting for other variables. The exhaust may be adding a little bump too.. not to mention stickers of course. ?
Nah.. I was really just curious to see what the car was doing as is.
I put my car on a dyno today: My car is a fairly stock MY23 MT running 98RON with an AWE Touring (non resonated) exhaust; NVS Carbon intake lid (resonator delete) and of course a JB+ set at 3PM.
It's a funny red. In real life it looks very different when I have seen it. Would love to see one sitting next to an orange because I swear they're the same colour from pics online!
I'd like to get one of those fancy LED steering wheels but am a little on the fence due to the thickness of the aftermarket wheels and particular to this thread, the operation of the Galaxy Pro LED lights and screen.
Specifically, I'd like to know if:
1. Can the screen in the middle can be...
