In theory, the loss of backpressure from a free-flowing cat could result in a loss of power on some cars, though I'm not exactly sure that's been proven on the B58. I'd expect the ECU to compensate the electronic WG to maintain targets.

yeah... I'd be very very bearish on reving up any car, let alone one with tight tolerances when engine oil temp is below 180°.

I'm not actually. I was at the track all day Saturday (I do drive to the track.. 'street car' ya know), and didn't feel like changing them before I went out for photos on Sunday. I change my wheels constantly. lol.
