You might not want to hear this but I am on iOS 16.6 and I am experiencing none of what you are experiencing with CarPlay. I use Waze exclusively (for navigation) and have never had it be unable to pinpoint my location.. it sometimes gets confused at the start of a drive due to direction of...
I'm not sure "much smaller" is that accurate but OK. And just so you know, you can tap any of the apps to make them fullscreen in CarPlay. Music is also fullscreen. It's just a simple interface for getting shit done. And by shit, I mean audio stuff, messages and navigation.
While more...
Exactly. The difference is so marginal it is making me think I might just do the fuse pull trick with the stock exhaust - I already start in Sports mode via coding and we'll see how bad the drone is on the freeway.
Interesting. Is it much louder with the valve open?
Not sure. Once its warm...
Yeah.. appreciate all the responses. I'll start looking into the options mentioned. I basically just want the car to be a good deal louder without a) spending thousands of dollars and b) making it a police magnet.
Looks like a loud; legal; cheap. Choose two situation. Ugh.
You are right. I just don't want to do anything too outlandish or expensive, if possible. Shit, if it didn't cost so much, having the ECU unlocked and getting a burble tune applied would probably satisfy me.
This sounds like the most reasonable thing to do but will probably be pretty costly I...
I know a lot of people hate burbles and pops but the MT as delivered in Australia is disappointingly quiet. I've turned off ASD because ASD is stupid and even in Sports mode it is disappointingly quiet. I mean this car looks the part but my just sounds way too timid.
What is the cheapest and...
Waze FTW. Real time Police/Speed camera locations alone make it easily trump the rest. And here in Oz Apple maps is just plain wrong most of the time, making it pretty much useless.
This. If I am to ever mount anything, it will be Proclip. Simply the best.
There is no facelift this year other than what is already well known.. new colour, etc. Either next year or the year after will be the final year of production so I would suggest it is very unlikely Toyota will bother to make any significant changes as the Surpa sunsets.
