Most of the high HP guys don't waste time with youtube or whatever, but I'm not sure what you'd expect to see in a video? Pulling the ECU, showing the date, slapping the ecu back in and then.. flashing?
It definitely works fine. My cloned ECU from an X5 works fine.

Pure is a pretty small shop, maybe the sale + unlock-hopes got them a ton more orders than they were expecting. It doesn't forgive the issues with communication, but I'd guess these homies are overwhelmed.

I highly highly highly recommend A&L Body Shop in the North Chicago burbs. Same owner as IND, they do great work on BMWs all the time.
They're actually priced quite right I think, given it's a 4-5 month wait after ordering. They can't keep 'em on the shelf. These are rear-only 17s, so I'd expect that OP is going to slap the wheels on before hitting the strip, but you're right. They're needed if you're launching on a prepped...
