Need help with drag tires

I just purchased the Titan 7 drag pack and seeing if anyone else has this set up and what size/brand of tires folks are running. Any help would be appreciated.

Related question.... Are you planning to run this at the drag strip on a normal basis (on a prepped surface). If yes, are you going to upgrade the axels? I'm wanting to get a drag pack setup, but feel like the axel upgrade is pretty import before doing so. Seems like the DSS axels (only ones I can find on the market) are supra taxed, so it's a bit to bite off on...

They're actually priced quite right I think, given it's a 4-5 month wait after ordering. They can't keep 'em on the shelf. These are rear-only 17s, so I'd expect that OP is going to slap the wheels on before hitting the strip, but you're right. They're needed if you're launching on a prepped surface. Especially with a tire.

Yup. I spied with my own two eyes an axle snap with radials on an 11.4 car. They just don't have it in them.

Don't try to cut a crazy 60'. 2000-2200 rpm launch is fine. You'll be alright.

I’ve never launched that high I normally was 1500 ish but that’s on the oem tires
