It's not. It's scaled linearly and computed. Tuners can change the scale, but it's basically a 0-100 scaled and filled. The sport displays are a joke.

These things undoubtedly lower the value of a car. This car will depreciate over the next 10-15 years as it starts to show its age, and the B58s are pushed harder and harder to the breaking point. The reason the MKIV Supras are worth so much is the same reason, most are gone.
