Y'all are confusing digital and analog with static and dynamic displays and it's killing the software engineer in me. The tachometer is w/o question digital. The display is also digital. The face of the display is static. I never even attempted to suggest it was dynamic.
Difference between...
I believe the pillars are coated. They should buff out, but you'll have to be gentle, they are plastic.
Na, the body lines are fine. It is just metal ;)
Are you suggesting the Supra has a mechanical tach? It's 100% most absolutely digital. The display is static, not dynamic, but that doesn't mean it's not digital.
Money or sanity. Probably a few thousand for a full PPF, maybe more. The thing with PPF is you really need to do it before you get a ding that pisses you off. Maybe you can opt for just the hood/front bumper/fenders.
100%. If I could get this thing for less than 50k, it's becoming my project. On sale. The absolute worse case is you send this boy over to Norris/p2tuned, and go 3.2 stroker. Considering the 10k you saved from the included parts alone... 100% worth it.
Definitely agree with everything @Axix23 said. It's going to get a little scuffed up unless you wrap it up and keep it in a storage locker somewhere. It's going to get little knicks and scratches, especially if it's your daily.
PPF is going to be your friend, the paint is pretty soft on these...
Can you bring a ODBLink and scan it? Or being it somewhere on your test drive, could be something, might be nothing. Eitherway, it's worth checking out. Unless Botti tuned it, lol.
