To quickly get back to this:
I saw in a forum that the front camera can actually be replaced with different ones.
I might give it a try and install a more compact one that has a wider FOV.
If it works out, I will post an update here.
Interesting.
In my EU spec car it's available but there is no mention in the manual what it's used for.
Maybe you can plug in a fuse tap and check if there are cables already connected to the slot?
You can either fully charge the battery before you put the car away and hope it doesn't drain much (I heard several people that did this) or put a jump pack on the terminals in the hood to get power to open the trunk. Keep in mind that the window will not go up if you don't have power. It will...
I wanted to give a quick little update.
The TriPro has been performing just fine without any issues.
I washed the car several times and also the cameras. They did not care.
There is no humidity that got inside or anything like that.
I'm very happy with this solution.
Edit:
For anyone...
Just FYI:
The Supra does not have DME OTA updates.
Updates will have to be made at the dealership with a cable.
The only OTA update we get is for the navigation. This obviously won't affect the DME.
Sport cooling mode will lower both the coolant and oil temp a few °.
Better for the oil and all the plastic parts when it runs a bit cooler.
Select sport cooling and just drive it.
I had the same issue that the key sometimes wouldn't work.
In the end the battery was the cause. It was a new one but it was bad from the factory.
Might want to swap it again.
The voltage measurement was actually fine too! However the voltage did drop, once there was a load connected.
Regarding installing the hardwire kit, both fuses boxes can be used.
With the front fuse box use F20 or F21 as battery, and F61 or F62 for ignition.
If using the rear fuse box, then I would recommend F217 as battery, and F273 as ignition.
I checked every single fuse for both fuse boxes with a...
A representative from Wolfbox reached out to me because of my post.

G900 Tripro (I got the bumper version)
G900 Pro
Jump Starter 4000A
Air duster
To use the...
I got the extended kit to have the CPL and the plate bracket. It also extends the warranty for 1 year.
The OEM mirror bracket will NOT work for the Supra. There are several sensors in our mirror. I don't want to touch that stuff.
The Wolfbox is just "strapped" onto the mirror.
The digital rearview mirror will show me so much more than I can see in the normal mirror.
It's pitch black out, yet the camera shows me what's behind without issues.
On the screen it even seems a bit brighter than in the saved video.
Glare from other cars isn't an issue either: ( I read...
Thank you.
I agree, it could be a little bit more hidden but I didn't want to drill into the bumper or remove it.
With a 3d printer one could make a mount and attach it from behind.
Function over form for this one.:)
A small detail worth mentioning.
The space between the headliner and the camera is so tight that the USB-C cable of the power supply would hit the roof if the unit is angled correctly. It will block the mirror from tilting up.
To solve this, I used a 90° USB-C angle. Now the power cable goes to...
Unfortunately I did not film the installation. It was a lot of trial and error to figure out a way to install it.
I just took a look on another device, the pictures are showing fine for me. Could you please check again?
As some others here, I'm also annoyed that Toyota did not bother to integrate a front camera for the Supra.
I can't see the curbs or anything in front of the car I'm pulling up to.
I saw that there is an MMI integration, but I did not like the 600€ price tag.
Other AliExpress modules did not...
