Does anyone else have to press the lock button multiple times and wait for it to lock. Sometimes it works perfectly and sometimes it doesn’t. I also recently changed the battery so that’s not the issue.

External interference? Does it happen everywhere or just at one location?

Haven’t had to lock the car with the remote since forever lol. Just code auto lock 😂.
But have you dropped the keys too many times or got water in them?

I had the same issue that the key sometimes wouldn't work.
In the end the battery was the cause. It was a new one but it was bad from the factory.
Might want to swap it again.
The voltage measurement was actually fine too! However the voltage did drop, once there was a load connected.

Sometimes the internals break. My Supra is a CPO and one of the remotes had a dead unlock button. I took it apart and noticed the contact on the circuit board button wouldn't compress anymore.

Well not so fast. Did the issue arise after you changed the battery ? if not then change the battery again and keep fingers off the battery terminals and use a cotton but and iso alcohol to clean the key contacts. It's not that unusual for new batteries to be undervoltage or low on capacity. Sometime they are old stock. Worth a try before going on to more costly solutions.
