I was wrong, IIRC Charlie's Toyota in Augusta, ME was willing to let this 2021 Grey Supra go for $4k under MSRP. Hope you guys are able to snag it for even more of discount.

Well maybe you're right. I knew two 2021's below MSRP--2-5k below, one in Augusta, ME and one one in Binghamton, NY and they both seem to have sold. There was a 2022 in Newport, RI that was 2k below MSRP also sold. This was all in October.
Better get my Supra before they sell out. :)
I think that's normally the case with an in-state temp tag. However, normally not the case with an in-transit temp tag meant for car to be titled and registered in another state. Or at least that is my understanding.
I'm financing the car since I have no loans right now (drops your credit score) and pretty sure the dealer is required to register the car if it has a lien against it.
So NY wouldn't be able to do more than 30 days on in-transit temporary permit and it can't be renewed.
CT allows for a 10 day one-time temporary registration and that would require paying the sales tax then (which I already payed the dealership).

I have the same question regarding the oil consumption issue, I don't think anyone knows and since Toyota won't acknowledge the issue (if it exists) we won't know until we have some empirical evidence from owners.
If you didn't know the 2021's also had a gas pedal lag issue.
