The only thing I can find in relation to Toyota is "Dealer Management System"? No idea how that's related. What does “DMS” mean?
Toyota is really hyping up the Supra, just like it once did with the 86.

I wonder where the red starts? Clearly higher than 7000, and 7000 is where a standard B58 will redline....Central tacho!!! Yes! Nothing says "I'm not a sportscar" than a non central tacho.
Also love the simple black and white. No fancy colours and animations... That we can see.
Also, that sounds ace. Really nice.

I say 7700.I don't expect much over 7500, but at least being different than a 340i proves it's not a bog-standard B58...
8k, even 7700, would have to mean that the head was serious business. Of course, we were told that the head would be a hell of a breather before, but again nothing solid that would confirm that.I say 7700.
Though, I think people wound be ecstatic if it is 8k like a old school vtec
True, but if we were to be realistic, a 7700 redline would be similar to the 86 redline being 7300 if I remember correctly.8k, even 7700, would have to mean that the head was serious business. lol I don't think developing an engine and setting it's redline works like that..if only engineers could just pick and choose what rpm they want, then all sports cars would have a redline over 9000True, but if we were to be realistic, a 7700 redline would be similar to the 86 redline being 7300 if I remember correctly.
I would just think a 8k redline would attract buyers and if properly geared can stay in the power band for much longer.
Or if the car revs fast
Oh, no doubts. The Fa20 is not a B58. But I was wondering how far Toyota could push the car's enginelol I don't think developing an engine and setting it's redline works like that..if only engineers could just pick and choose what rpm they want, then all sports cars would have a redline over 9000
It isn't necessarily how hard you push an engine, it is more a result of the engine's design hence why FA20 has a higher redline than B58 and while you can increase the FA20's redline it won't add any power.. https://www.carthrottle.com/post/engineering-explained-why-some-engines-rev-high-and-their-benefits/Oh, no doubts.
