Will fake vents stop you from buying the new Supra?

It might be the glare, but anybody else seeing potential lines in the center of the hood? This angle gives us a better look at the supposed lines leading the the side vents
While I don't see any lines you're referring to, I for one don't want more lines, the design should stay clean and avoid hard character lines like the A80 & FT1...I don't think there are any more hidden vents or character lines at this point, all of the renderings on this forum have covered all the major design details.

That looks bad. Maybe it’s the render..
Part of the problem there is foreshortening of the image due to the use of a telephoto lens. But even allowing for that, I am yet to be convinced that the Supra is going to be a looker.

Feel the same way.. given the proportions of the Z4 and judging by it, I have a hard time thinking the Supra will look good. Z4 proportions are terrible.. side profile looks like the entire car was an after thought.

I've played around with the GR concept a lot in 3D (gran turismo sport) and while there's a few unusual design features... I think on a whole, once we see it in a nice colour, the car will be quite nice looking. I got 2000GT, even a but of 60s Ferrari from the overall shape.

Again, only through looking at the GR concept in GT sport from all angles... For way too long

Which design features do you find unusual? Just curious.

The overall shape is fine imo, but I have to admit that most of the renders we’ve seen do make it look kind of odd. Hopefully that’s just a product of it being a render, and not how it’ll really look.

The biggest change with taking the camo off is the rear window.

Without the wrap covering the Edges, the car looks a lot less top heavy.

Which was consistent with seeing the GR concept in person. It's a bottom-heavy looking car, accentuated even further by the widebody, imho.

MKV has been quite difficult to render just based on the sheer number of body lines throughout the car. I agree, seeing this car in a proper color will really tie everything together.

One part that I've been having a hard time wrapping my head around is the number of different body panels. MKV has a ton of body panels and there are various gaps/separations around the car and I have a hard time picturing what they will look like and how noticeable they will be once the wrap comes off (especially in the lower door/door vent area). Only time will tell...
