I drove mine straight from dealership to the ceramic coating guy and ppf front and A pillars! Best thing I ever did to a car , when you wash it, it’s incredible how new it looks again! He used ceramic pro as well . I’m very happy with it .

There is no chemical coating of any kind that will give protection from a rock chip. For that you need PPF. Some folks put PPF over the whole car; some use PPF on the high impact areas like the front, hood, A Pillars, rocker panels, etc. A good majority of those folk also use some type of ceramic coating on top of the PPF for added protection.
I used Xpel PPF on the high impact areas followed by Kamikaze Miyabi. These were applied by a local shop. Had my car over a year now and no damage from rock chips anywhere. Washing the car is a breeze. I maintain the coating by using Kamikaze Overcoat after washing. The car still looks as amazing today as it did in the showroom.

I use sonex products on this car. Im really happy with the results. Washed it for the first time yesterday. Foam wash with air blower drying, then light wipe with a ceramic spray detailer.
