2022 3.0 oil engine situation (over-consumption) questions

Is there a way to measure fluids while driving the car (ex: using bimmerlink as a boost gauge or tracking oil temps under load)

Not sure, I’ve never delved into everything BimmerLink can do and I haven’t used it while driving. I’m fairly confident it can measure temps while on the move but not 100% sure. I know others have used it for that sort of thing so hopefully one can chime in with the answer. There also is a way to pull up a “secret” menu in the gauge cluster that will show you temps in real time but just in C°.

I had an oil change at 16,100 by the dealer, I didn't measure the oil after. Since then now at 22,350 I've added 2 quarts of oil (and the car got into the orange warning for oil briefly) which seems like a bit much, the car wants an oil change in 1500 miles according to the maintenance tracker, quite odd. I daily drive the car but mostly short trips and I drive it hard, not track hard, I've done 1 autox 1 wet hpde

Any visible oil leaks? Check the drain plug and make sure they didn’t misthread it. Hope that’s not the case.

2021 with no consumption issues until about 28000 miles. Didnt even have to add oil ever. Turbo seals wore out. Dealer replaced the turbo, cat, and both O2's.
