Just stumbled on this thread. I’ve got a Burnout car that’s been on order for a long time (Aug 2022). Dealer says it’s been damaged during either production or transportation. They can’t get the parts to fix it. Those are the ONLY details I’ve got. They have told me the car will be fixed to new car standards and will still deliver. Now I’m wondering if it was totaled with the others listed in this thread. It has a VIN in the 54xxx range so earlier than the 3 listed above that are in the 55xxx range.
Thoughts?

My 2021 had its front bumper cover ruined in transport, and while it was delayed by almost two extra months, Toyota did a killer job on the replacement, in regards to paint finish and fitment. It was worth the wait.

Yours should certainly not be totaled, because if it was, the VIN would disappear from Toyota's pipeline and show a blank build sheet on TiS. If your sales manager can reach out to the regional Toyota sales rep, they can do thorough inquiry on the status of the vehicle and relay the information back to you.
