Damn, that's rough. I'm more than likely going to be just flipping my A91-MT once it gets in since there is such an overwhelming willingness to pay large markups. I don't mind waiting for a future 3.0 Premium MT at all ?
Totally.Eventually we will see premiums available this year im sure, and those 10k markups people are probably going to regret paying that much.

Yeah I know it's already available in other countries. As far as I know no dealer has been able to even place an allocation preference for a manual one and dealers should be able to confirm allocation for like 2 months out (My friend shopping for a Camry got an allocation in Dec). Unless they have been building it for NA and just not allocating/shipping them and decide to release them all together.

Mine said they already put the allocation preference in. I'd guess they're probably already working on building them, they just haven't released any allocations to the dealers yet.

Did you ask for a confirmation picture? Because I left deposit at a place where they said they will put allocation preference but after I left the deposit they said it's not available yet.

The used car market is gradually starting to turn. People buying these to flip may be in for a rude awakening.

That's what happens when you're an idiot. If the market is hot and you can flip something in 12 hours, great. Otherwise, investing in automotive is absolutely stupid.

I have heard from several that manual premiums will not be landing in the US till Feb-April.

This year will be all the special editions and automatics

They really shot those launch editions in the foot by just releasing the red interior color in the next model year. They will probably do the same with these A91-MT colors as well. All the more reason to just buy what you like and not put too much emphasis on resale.

agreed, I wouldn't be surprised if they offered burnout/cul8r in 2024 on a90's or something like that. I just told myself I'd 100% get a manual supra if offered and here I am :)

I hope it's not that long but I guess we'll see. I've seen estimates from dealers all over the place so I doubt they know much more than us at this point.

You think so? I do love the new gray color but other than that the only reason I wanted the A91-MT was I really like the cognac interior. But if it'll be available on a premium next year I'm definitely not salty about not finding an A91-MT right now.

I ended up playing it safe and grabbing a used Audi A4 2018 (good lord it is slow, but only $23k) while I wait for prices on cars to cool off so I can either grab a Premium in spring or a new m340i. Hopefully the patience pays off. I just can't stomach knowing I'm getting railroaded by the dealerships. Not judging anyone if you happen to have eff you money and you can afford it, have at it.

Edit: Follow-up on the CU Later that is at Toyota of North Charlotte.. I'm still seeing it available so it looks like people are staying strong on not paying $20k over MSRP. Great job, everyone.
