2023 Supra QC Hold Question!

Hi guys! I'm new to the forum so I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but my car arrived at port (screen shot wasn't updated) and is currently on QC hold. My dealer sent me a screenshot and it says "UNDER STUDY CHECK BACK EVERY FRIDAY AFTER 12PM - Vehicle delayed for 30 days - ETA unavailable". For those who've recieved an allocation for their 2020+ Supra that was placed under a QC Hold, how long did it take for it to be released and delivered to the dealer?

Just wondering the individual rough ETA's as I know it would vary. Very excited!

I have no knowledge or hard information about this but the timing of the embargo is just too obvious to ignore. And if the QC is lifted soon after the embargo - which I believe ends tomorrow - it'll confirm my suspicions.

I have the same QC hold right now except mine is a 2022 3.0 Premium. Fingers crossed that it's the embargo and my 2022 just got caught up in the general hold (?)

My A91-MT has been "at port" for over a week now. Dealership is telling me it could be a few days ... or a few weeks.

Got pretty excited when they told me it was at port. Now I'm just trying to relax and ride out the wait.

It’s a conspiracy..I watched almost all the new manual Supra reviews and like 3 of them all said on sale now at your local dealer! I have a feeling the qc hold will be lifted later today or Friday!

Mine was on QChold for a little more than 3 weeks and friday I got the call from dealer saying it is off hold and in processing. Can`t wait to get it.

Awesome man! Yeah a buddy of mine has his on QC hold for about 4 weeks and his just got released last friday! Happy for you both! I’ve only been waiting about 10 days so few more weeks to go before I’ll expect mine to go into processing.

Did your dealer happen to say how long processing would take and ETA till it arrived at the dealer?

A guy I've been talking to on Insta has had his at port w/ a QC hold since 8/21. His lifted last friday, 9/16. If thats any indication of anything... I'd assume yours will be lifted by 9/23!

It's all speculation at this point but hope this helps.

No idea and he went on vacation Saturday and won`t be back for a week so I won`t know anymore until next Saturday. It better be on the way.

This same thing happened with my Launch Edition 3 years back. In my case, it was held for an inspection at port on the welds for the seat belt harness clip to the frame and added about 3 weeks onto my wait time before it started moving again. Mine didn't end up having the issue and it eventually showed up, but that was a painful couple of weeks and Toyota's vehicle tracking system really sucks. I can find out exactly where my $10 screwdriver is I ordered off Amazon up to the minute before it's delivered, but good luck getting updates where your $60k car is from Toyota.
