How are you guys negotiating anything off when there’s a line of people wanting to purchase these at MSRP?

Show the build up of negotiated price plus taxes and dealer fees. Thanks guys for the reply
Just put the deposit down today, this is my OTD price after dealer fees/taxes![]()
Funny you ask. I just mentioned this on another threadHow are you guys negotiating anything off when there’s a line of people wanting to purchase these at MSRP?
I'll be happy to post the paperwork once it's delivered and I sign for it. What benefit would I have from posting bullshit? That makes no sense. MSRP is around $59K, even with $4.6K off, after adding taxes your OTD price is a bit above $56K.
Careful in the dealer add ons. The manual’s are still in strong demand and the dealers don’t really need to discount them to move them.
I sense some BS in these numbers, but hey more power to ya if you get the car with that kind of discount.
Well that makes a good $4-$5K difference right there. Careful with the additional dealer fees. Seen a good amount of bait and switch once the car actually comes in.I'll be happy to post the paperwork once it's delivered and I sign for it. What benefit would I have from posting bullshit?
Sorry for your bad experiences with dealerships, some are still good.
I live in NH so we do not have any state tax.
Vehicle Price - $60,965
Discount - $4,666
dealer admin fee - $495
out the door price - $56,794
They are NOT waiting in line to buy them anywhere. The higher interest rates certainly are not helping either. How are you guys negotiating anything off when there’s a line of people wanting to purchase these at MSRP?
Nice! You beat my deal (which I thought was smokin) by $1,131!I'll be happy to post the paperwork once it's delivered and I sign for it. What benefit would I have from posting bullshit?

Lets us know where, I will go pick it this weekend.Got quoted $58k out the door for the 2024 Supra Premium MT.
Is this considered a fair/good deal?
Right! I’m honestly thinking about trading mine in. I’d loose the majority of the add on‘s but…. ohhhh well….. Be fun breaking in a new one again! And… I’d get a free track day ?Lets us know where, I will go pick it this weekend.

Congrats on your deal, great to see other forum members strike gold!Nice! You beat my deal (which I thought was smokin) by $1,131!
Mine:
MSRP - $60,965
Discount - $3,465
Doc fee - $425
Total before tax - $57,925
Unfortunately I don't get to dodge state tax (lucky bastard). But I'll pay mine when I register it back home. Our rates aren't horrible at 3.25%.
To the question asked about mileage/demo, mine is a new unit scheduled to land here in a few weeks.
Premium Manual.Congrats on your deal, great to see other forum members strike gold!
Was yours a MT as well or auto?
Same here. Mine is red! I have about 6k in aftermarket parts sitting in my garage waiting for delivery. Can't waitPremium Manual.
And this right here is exhibit A as to why an “out the door” price is not how you should look at buying a car. Every state has different taxes and fees. And sometimes there are even differences between counties. The price of the car is the price of the car. Doesn’t matter if it’s an out the door, under the bridge, or in the garage price. The price you pay for the car is still the price. In this case the price of the car is $56,299 and he’s paying the dealer a $495 doc fee to do all the paperwork for the DMV. NH may not have a state sales or usage tax but I can’t imagine there are no title, license, registration or lien fees to register the car. The dealers doc fee is to cover handling those things for you but in actuality most of it is additional profit. But I digress. Back on topic. The price of this car is $56,299. That would be the same price no matter where the purchaser is located but the total transaction cost will vary wildly depending on the state sales/usage tax and DMV fee structure where you live. The total traction in a State with a very high usage tax rate, say 8%, will look much different than the OPs transaction where he pays no tax. The price of the car is still exactly the same. Same goes for any of the stupid-ass and worthless add ons dealers try to sell. If you are foolish enough to agree to it you have to consider those separately as well. You don’t pay $59,299 for the car in that situation. You pay the same $56,299 for the car and you pay $3,000 for the worthless VIN etching or whatever add on you agreed to buy. These out the door prices are purely to confuse buyers as to the true price of the vehicle…I'll be happy to post the paperwork once it's delivered and I sign for it. What benefit would I have from posting bullshit?
