Alot of wheels in this size along with even more tires...
Saw a few track tires that run as wide as 10.5 to 11 inches on the treads with only a 9.5 wheel
Seeing if people had any experience in this squared setup

We (TAPG Motorsports) have a couple sets of Apex EC-7R 18x10.5 ET38 that currently have 295/30-18 Hoosiers mounted. Should be mounting them on the car within the next couple weeks with stock suspension and then some MCS three-way coilovers. Ill try and remember to post some pics of each along with any clearance issues we run into. The MCS units will have adjustable camber plates also.

Rear wheels and tires fit without a problem. Front tires contact the spring perch on the stock absorber to the point where you cant even install the assembly on the vehicle. Will be fitting the MCS 3-way dampers tonight and give the wheels/tires another go.

Isn't 275 35 18 smaller overall diameter than 275 35 19? I am curious about running 275 35 19 square setup on OEM wheels as I have 2 sets of them..
You are correct. I misunderstood what you were originally asking.

So here are some numbers..

OEM 19"

255 35 19 OD 661
275 35 19 OD 675

I do not know the OEM 18" size is but..

275 35 18 OD 650 - 11 mm smaller than front and 25mm smaller than rear.

I assume if 18" was used as OEM, following would've been used to sync with speedometer and odometer.

255 40 18 OD 661
275 40 18 OD 677 (only 2mm different)

perhaps 275 40 18 should be used as 18" square instead of 35 AR?

in addition to OP's question, I'd like to know other's experience /w 275 35 19 square and/or 275 40 18 square setup.
