Interesting that article mentions the Supra will have a mild hybrid option, 48v, 20hp/70Nm.

The Z4-brother is called Toyota Supra
The new Toyota Supra will be assembled at Magna in Graz like the Z4.
They are largely identical with one exception: In difference to BMW the Toyota will have a mild hybrid system (48V, 15kWm, 70Nm, 0,6KWh-rechargebale battery).
The supra will (for the time being) be available as a coupe, not as a convertible.

The text right to it:
The BMW Z4 will be a convertible an the Toyota Supra a coupe. Should the sales go down both cars could be avialable as a Retractable hardtop according to AUTO BILD.

In the text are 3 trims described:

Z4 base
4 cylinder, 150HP / 250Nm
the only one available with manual transmission!

Z4 30i
2,0L 4 cylinder, 265HP / 390Nm

Z4 M40i
3,0L I6, 360HP / 500Nm
250 KM/h topspeed
Weight: 1490 KG
0-100: 4,6 Sec.
price: a little under 60.000€ (Germany net 48.600€)

A Z4M is currently not planned. If so with >400HP

The auto (8gear) is on par with a Porsche-PDK (Timing & speed).

I hope you can work with this translation. When I have more time tomorrow I read the article again an look if I have overseen something interesting.
Cheers

Wtf

Two 4 cylinder versions and only one engine in 6 cylinder?

As a note, it seems the weight is equal to the specs from the leaks.

Will the supra be that much more powerful and less heavy?

Toyota, where you at?

The new Z4 gets the new front axle from the new 3 series.
The electical locking differntial is from M GmbH.
The M40i comes with the M Performance brake. The lower trims have this optional.
No carbon-ceramic brakes and AWD.

Auto Bild drove first the M240i (five laps) -> M2 (five laps) -> Z40i.
In the first part they write about the drive modes (Comfort, Eco Pro, Sport Plus).
In the middle part are th einfos about the trims and the parts of the car.
In the later part they compare the new Z4 to the M2 and the "old" Z4.
The last part is the conclusion of the author and the comparison to the 718. The 718 boxster is more sporty and expensive. The Z4 is the allround vehicle.

(Disclaimer: this translation is not that good/on point with my crappy skills)

The first impression from AUTO BILD (the blue box in the middle):

The Z4 is has good control, a allround roadster.
The digital cockpit is too small and badly readable.
The view to the "C-pillar" is not that good.

Hope that is not too crappy. The translation to english is difficult in my opinion.

So that scan is from AutoBild. Here's what they have to say about the Supra. Sounds like typical BS from the clueless media.

http://www.autobild.de/artikel/toyota-supra-2019-preis-motor-kooperation-mit-bmw-5259623.html

The new Toyota will be more expensive than the GT86. That said the European development boss Gerald Killmann opposite the Dutch car magazine AutoRai . According to Killmann the GT86 remains the affordable sports car of the brand, the performance model Supra is to classify it in terms of price. Currently, a Toyota GT86 costs at least 30,000 euros. How To Cars expects that the prices for the Supra will start at 40,000 euros. One reason: The sports car gets a six-cylinder from BMW with over 450 hp.
