A-pillar gaugle pod install

I ordered a Ortiz a-pillar gaugle pod and looking to isntall it today. Is there any tricks to removing the factory piece or does it just pop off? I've searched and havent found anything useful.

Just picked up one of these for mine as well. what gauges did you go with?

I see you figured it out, but just for reference, you need to pop off the "Airbag" plastic cover to get at the bolt behind it. Then once its unbolted it'll pull off.

Just the ethenol content gauge that came with my flex fuel kit for now.
