Aftermarket steering wheel - without heat function

Does anyone know if I get an aftermarket steering without heat function (where the MKV does have heated steering function), will it give an error code on the dash or some other warnings?

Yes. I dont think Toyota ships heated steering stock on any models?

Regardless - no codes on my dash related to steering components. I'm a fan of the G8x design. Highly recommend it.
