I had attended a track day a few weeks ago and my car handled great no mods to the suspension just a alignment. I took my car again to the same track again also had alignment prior to the track day., I felt like the car was not as stable and solid on corners as before. At first I though it was tire pressures and they where pretty high at 42 psi hot. I dropped pressure to 35psi car improved but not the same as before. Can the new alignment have changed the numbers look similar.

This is my 2nd alignment during my 2nd track day and car did not feel as stable. Or it could be the conditions one the track it was hot and my tire pressures went up to 42 psi dropped them to 35psi and car still was not solid.

Any ideas on the difference or just chalk it up to any given day conditions can change and effect the cars characteristics ??? Car was also on stock michelins.

Temperature differences for when you went each time? Also, why did you get the alignment?

Main thing I noticed lately on the Supra stock tires is they really don’t like too much heat. It’s been 100+ degrees everyday here for the last month or two.

The first track day was a month ago it was 60s to 70s and the 2nd track day was today and it was 70s to 80s. I think temperature played a role but car did not feel as good in corners as before. More roll and sway. I did a alignment again before a track day to make sure everything is good. The track was very technical a lot corners.

I don’t know if you did but I only trust shops that are track and street oriented to do my alignments. It costs more but they really know what they’re doing.

Not a Corvette.
That rear toe is going to make the car feel more stable for sure. I like zero toe in front. Your toe settings are close to mine but I have much more camber front/rear because of mods. -3.7 front and -2.4 rear

What tires are you using?
