I've already gone through the process of dismantling most of the trunk / B-pillar trim and adding some foam / contact material to select spots to try to get rid of annoying vibrations/rattles coming from the area, but the issue persists.

I might give it a second go, but am also curious if anyone has experience with any local shops that do this kind of work? I figure maybe an audio installation shop, but I also would prefer somewhere that will try to tackle the specific issue w/ some level of commitment as opposed to just generically installing sound deadening material hoping it fixes the problem.

Most of the vibrations seem to be coming from the trim around the passenger side port window behind the B-pillar in case anyone has had this same exact issue and solved it already.

My issue is most likely different but it was in the same passenger area. It was a very annoying and loud “ticking” noise that was from the tweeter housing rubbing against some rubber on the door. It would either not make a noise or be constant on some of my 3.5 hr drives. I put some felt tape around it and that has seemed to solve it for now.

Is that the one on the door?

I have the same annoying tick but on the drivers side.

just imagine the time your spent trying to locate the source of the sound and multiply that time by the shop hourly rate...

Yep and then they fix the original defect and introduce another 3 removing and installing trim panels and breaking clips etc. My wifes Kia has an annoying dash area buzzy vibration but the last think I'm going to do is get it looked at as a warranty job. I have nightmare images of the mechanic pulling the dash apart. No thanks, I'll wear earplugs before I do that, lol.

Have a friend use a stethoscope to check for noises in the front while driving. If coming from the back then a friends kids will work…

yup that’s it. It just needs some pressure. I was desperate and put a folded up piece of paper in between the door and tweeter until I was able to get my hands on felt tape.

Sorry for ghosting my own thread after ppl responded lol, meant to circle back...

I'll probably give this another go myself one of these weekends. I did find the thread below which has some good ideas and is the exact spot I am having issues with. One of them is installing velcro to hold the various panels against each other which I think might help.
