Anybody recognize this weird noise?

Got home from work and this is the first time the car does this noise? Its been turned off for about 15 min now and it hasnt stopped?

tried locating it but not sure whats producing or causing this noise?

I know it sounds electronic but a possibility " might" be the HP fuel pressure regulator bleeding off excess HP line pressure caused by the engine heat soaking after shutdown. These things can make some interesting noises sometimes. Another possibility might be the A/C system doing something similar via the expansion valve. Try running the car with the a/c off and see if it occurs. You could also run the engine for a minute or two from cold and shut it down and see if the noise is there and if it's heat related.

I think my car makes that same noise. (I think my Golf-R does it too). I noticed it while I was detailing the car after a drive.

Nothing out of the ordinary on my car.. car's been great since day one.
