Anyone know the decibels for the AWE track vs AWE touring stock DP?

Looking at these 2 exhausts. For my STI I went with the touring because the track was crazy loud but I recorded the decibel with the touring so I wanted to have an idea where these 2 exhaust fall into regarding DB and see how close they may be.

I can’t give you exact db readings but I can give you firsthand experience with the setup you’re asking about. To be honest the touring is very close to the track in terms of loudness outside the car. The biggest difference is inside the car. Between 1800 and 2200 RPM it felt like the track version was trying to explode my head. I would suggest doing exactly what I did, if you can afford it, purchase the track version, try it, and if it’s too much for you buy the touring conversion since it’s an easy swap. And for info, I don’t have experience with the non-resonated touring. When I converted to the touring I went with the rear sections only so it still has the resonators from the track version.

Can confirm the track is boomy down low. I've only ever had it on the car with an AA catted downpipe, but inside of the car it does rattle your head in the lower RPM range. Now that being said, it sounds good when it's doing that, and that may your thing, like it is mine. I've never regretted my decision to put the track version of the AWE exhaust on my car, but I have a high tolerance for things like noise and NVH.

If you're going to add a DP then I would say go touring route. We have all variances in stock.

Second this ☝

I do not plan on adding downpipe. Wish there was a way for me to hear it in person first
It's loud as shit ?. Everyone loves it!!! Even more than I do... With that said, I'd consider turning down some of the inside low reverb if my wife wouldn't permanently make me sleep on the couch if I did. It's nice to know you can buy the touring downgrade, adapter or whatever it's called if you change your mind. :)

The track exhaust is loud but you'll still be less obnoxious than the straight piped Harley down the block. I must have super high tolerance for noise though cause I find it tame between 1800-2500 and straight up quiet in normal mode with how much it upshifts. Then again this is my opinion on cabin noise. No idea what it sounds like outside of the car yet.

I have touring resonated with a catless downpipe. No drone whatsoever but it is freaking loud af! The pops and bangs are nuts and the tone of the exhaust is a symphony very unique sounded compared to most other exhausts for this platform.

I had the AWE touring non res, sounded amazing, went catless, sounded SHIT. had to add vibrant resonators like the way the res version from AWE has, made it much better, but with stock dp, I would go track, the resonators are the important part, and with stock dp just sounds better. I think we have a few in stock shoot me a DM

Really? I have the AA catted downpipe mated to the AWE track right meow. Sounds lovely. I have this pretty ceramic-coated catless downpipe going on the car going on the car soon. What about it didn't you like?

Track edition still has resonators, just no mufflers; so you get the insane volume but still a good sound vs the rasp you'd get without the resonators in place.
