I’m toying with the idea of adding a meth kit, I only have 92 octane here and trying to get E85 is like trying to catch a unicorn. So who’s on meth and how do you like it? Good bad or otherwise, let’s hear your story!

It’s very good for the skin actually! Here’s a never before seen exclusive picture of me before and after meth

As you can see, me before was so boring and tired of life. After being on meth, it gave me that glow up and I look beautiful and bitchin’ yo ?

…And that’s my life story of how babies are ma- I mean… where was I going with this? Oh, meth. Worth it ?

I run boost juice (water/meth mixture) and I’m told it helps lol. I didn’t log intake temps before or after adding it so I can’t speak for it. There’s also a lot of other benefits, like steam cleaning the cylinders. Here is a pretty cheesy albeit informative video about meth.

I'm not a fan of meth. When it works, it works. When it doesn't work and the ecu thinks it's still working, all bad.

That's why you

1) don't tune for meth and let it do it's thing
or
2) plumb it through the reflex, and have a safety on it.

This is excellent advice and how meth should always be done Imo

So.....

1 - that's like running e85 and not upping the boost or timing..... boring but safe.

2 - as long as it has a flow sensor and low tank level sensor, I'm good with it. That is assuming you are actually tuning for it.

Bring down them IATs baby, ECU does the rest. You're generally right. A little extra octane isn't going to hurt, and it's really really cooling. Seriously cooling. Very cold. Much big cool charged air.

I get you. When I was tuning my Evo for flex fuel, the first time I topped off with e85 (actually e78), I noticed how much better it ran even though the boost and timing were identical to the 91 map.

I agree with you on the first point but can't you put an air/fuel failsafe cutoff?
