I suggest you don't put stick-on CF caps. Plus, the price you've been quoted seems steep. I bought mine from a dealer on eBay for $134, and I am very happy. They have clips on the inside like the ones you will replace. Because I was a little cautious about popping the covers off myself, I had them done by a professional. Here's the information about the seller on eBay.

Life is too short for non-OEM parts when available. That said 1k is a bit high for them. I found a guy parting out his Supra for 350 and they came with the boxes too

While I generally agree that you get what you pay for, I bought carbon mirror cap replacements from AliExpress and they are great. After nearly two years on the car, there's no fade or yellowing and fitment is perfect.

I had some buddies who installed their own themselves and they didn't have any issues, I think I got a bad mold... I have a second set coming in from Amazon and will return whatever doesn't work lol

Turns out the new set which was even more expensive, isn't even fully carbon, and dull edges, they're horrible! Jeez.. anyone recommend another "best mirror cap"? Lol

I got the rexspeed dry carbon mirror caps. Perfect weave perfect fitment zero flaws

Hey guys I’m trying to switch back my mirror caps but the first time I did it I broke the passenger mirror while removing it. Anyone have a skilled technique to remove the mirrors or perhaps know of some kind of tool to get this done without any accidents?
