Guys, don't be like me.
Everything went so smoothly, I thought "I don't know why people were so worried."
And then after putting everything back together, the passenger mirror doesn't adjust.
Sad panda. Turns out I did exactly what ArmenLS1 did, thanks @ArmenLS1 for posting his mirror mishap...
I had been so keen to get the prybar back towards the middle of the mirror... i would have been better off nearer the edge.
I *then* failed to fully connect the BSM wire.. that guy is tricky because it's got a soft rubber plug on the back half (presumably for water), so it's hard to tell if you're all the way in. so I think in total, I've removed the mirrors 5 times.. I'm pretty dialed on this process now, so I'm happy to offer surgical assist to anyone scared to do this in Albuquerque
Now that it's all sorted, I'd say i think they're pretty great for $90 bucks and 2 hours of fear.
