My car is still under the original factory warranty. Where would be the best place to buy an extended Toyota factory warranty?

So, generally about 6 months before your factory warranty expires, Toyota will mail you an offer to extend your warranty. If they haven't by say 60 days before, just visit your local Toyota dealer and they will offer it.

If your car is eligible for the Toyota Financial Extended Warranty, any Toyota dealer should be able sell you one. If you search this forum or google, Midwest Toyota pops up a lot. I assume they may be a high volume warranty seller. I bought my car used, so the finance office clown was trying to push a third party plan. Lately even on new cars, Stealerships are trying to sell their own favorite third party companies.

All dealer extended warranties are highly negotiable. Big money maker for dealers. How much they will deal on these after the new car purchase... who knows.

I got mine from Jerry +1 (620) 664-8844 at one of the Midwest dealerships. He sells the platinum warranties at cost.

The other name that came up she no longer works with the Toyota dealer info remember correctly.

I bought my warranty last year so not sure if the prices have changed.

Nowhere. Extended warranties are a waste of money. Especially when you buy one from Toyota for a BMW.
i always turn down warranty for all product/services but I did buy through from Jerry like above comment. Florida is not allowed to lower MSRP on warranty so the 10year/100k would cost around $3,500 but florida can buy out of state so I paid Jerry around $2,200.
for the price, I’ll get coverage for addition 7 years/ 64k miles. Im Mechanical able to change my own brake pads/oil change but never owned a BMW and labor has gotten very expensive. I figure 1 nice repair bill will offset the cost and I can drive the car the way it was meant knowing turbos are covered. Also if Sell the care you get prorated for refund.
warranty’s generally never worth the price but make them cheap enough than all who says no before will think twice. Example, make the 10/100 warranty for $1,000 and every supra owner would have bought garentee.

Exactly. I don’t get all the hate on extended warranties. It just takes one repair bill to make it worth it. It works out for me since I do not have the space to work on the car on my own. And the piece of mind of having no deductible for the 10 year without having to worry about future inflation and price hikes is worth it to me.

Well many make the dumb move of buying an extended warranty when they buy their car new while dealing with pressured sales in the finance office. Adding to your payment and paying for something you can't use for 3 years. Then most sell their car before the extended warranty goes into effect (so you paid 4k with interest added & never used it). This is when it's a big waste of money.

If you want an extended warranty, buy one and start paying for it when you can make use of it. This is once your manufacturer warranty is about to expire and don't finance it.

Also all extended warranty's aren't created equal. Do your due diligence to learn what the real coverage is and the deductibles.

Rant over. ?
